Philippe Collotte Marsannay Rosé 2019
Beautiful colour. On the nose – really inviting! Strawberries and cream, doesn’t seem like there will be any sweetness from the nose.
On the palate it’s really nice, dry, good weighty texture, soft yet prominent tannin structure backed up with good acid. Could even call it a masculine style of rose.
I like it! These guys are a prominent burgundy producer of pinot and chardonnay but they’ve shown some real respect with this rose.
After a couple minutes - freaking delicious! Love it!
