Nocturne Cabernets 2020 from Yallingup, Margaret River, WA
Blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot and Malbec. Very deep, dark colour in the glass.
On the nose – could only be Cabernet - inviting, loud and boisterous.
On the palate WOW seriously, this is a crazy great wine. Massive, concentrated, brooding yet with a soft touch. Polished tannin structure, very soft, elegant with perfect balance. A classic Margaret River Cabernet if I've ever seen one.
Well, ladies and gentleman we can’t beat this. Freaking steal for the money – it’s $36 and drinks like its $50+ easy.
Only just opened btw – lets see what magic the air will work. Got better, actually ended up finishing day 4 and it was faultless.
