Francois Chidaine Touraine Rosé 2020 from Loire Valley, France.
Blend of Grolleau (70%), with the remainder Pinot Noir and Gamay.
Really beyond pretty colour in the glass. Nose of fresh pear. On the palate – well balanced, really reminding me of tinned two fruits juice. Probably still dry but very soft and fruity- easy to drink, easy to like. Fun wine for sure, spiced pear, reduced down berries, dash of Ribena – kind of a similar style to the Rockford rosé (full / generous).
