Quealy Campbell and Christine Pinot Noir 2019 from Mornington Peninsula
Really gorgeous nose first off – Super bright – ripe blackberries, with the acid singing through. On the palate fairly big structure – heaps of dark fruits, even some coffee – I can actually taste the skins – like when you eat a grape off the vine. Doesn’t happen often but it’s kind of cool!
It can’t decide weather it wants to be pristine, polished and perfect or rustic and unique. Dipping back and forth over each line. Perfect on the nose, then starting perfect on the palate but leaning into something more rustic. Definitely worth drinking!
