Polperro Mornington Chardonnay 2020
I've long been a huge fan of this Chardonnay, it's so consistent, polished and enjoyable. Absolutely gorgeous colour in the glass. On the nose really pretty Chardonnay – hint of lemon and butter.
On the palate lean, clean, good acidity, bit of butter, great bitter lemon acid. Will be much better closer to room temp. It’s pretty cold right now.
Winner for sure. Good texture, super Mornington, great wine. Pretty and poised. Super pretty, super clean, great weight – impossible to dislike.
As it warms further it’s perfect – seriously good. Soft yet lovely weight and body.
