Pichot Brut Sparkling Chenin blanc

Pichot Brut Sparkling Chenin blanc

Very very inviting on the nose – touch of brioche but with the smile inducing chenin blanc zing fruitiness coming up. On the palate lively acid, dry, long finish – acid sticking around the mouth. Well balanced, acid is lively, no doubt a very enjoyable glass of wine I just don’t know if I’m a fan. I think I like the heavily chardonnay focused sparkling wines – there’s a lot of components here – the chenin is loud enough but with the bubbles it’s maybe too much. May have to be a NO unfortunately. I’d still drink it’s just not awesome. Will revisit tomorrow. Mind didn't change day 2.
