Moores Hill Tasmania Chardonnay 2019

Moores Hill Tasmania Chardonnay 2019

Lovely straw colour in the glass. On the nose really gorgeous – making me smile. Lovely lemon pith wafting up and an almost zesty sherbet anticipation for the palate coming.

On the palate beautiful weight, more citrus, hint of butter but not overstated – more so in the round and generous mouthfeel. Love this style of Chardonnay – cool climate, you could say lean but really, it’s weightier than that. Really polished and meticulous. Big big fan of this wine and the winery in general. Plus, it may even be a chard for the haters – not so fat/oaky.

Seriously how switched on is this chardonnay – just stunning winemaking. So elegant, so clean, perfect amount of acid, perfect weight on the palate. Now all I can taste is perfect lemon meringue pie / lemon delicious pudding.
