Kalleske Moppa Shiraz 2020 from Barossa Valley SA
Wow! Now this is a Monster from Barossa!
They all organic/ minimal intervention winemaking. Super ripe full seasonal berries on the nose – picked at the right time to deliver the most rich and delicious ripe shiraz possible.
On the palate - plump, ripe, fresh, young, stewed plums, hint of raspberry – look its massive but it’s all primary, and super hard to dislike. You do however need to be in the mood for a big shiraz but its not a super dark fruited shiraz either. Excellent quality. Expect nothing less from a winery of this caliber. Second thought might be too young / not serious enough.
