Briar Ridge Stockhausen Semillon 2019 Hunter Valley
Lean colour of light straw in the glass. On the nose subtle lemon/lime. Reminds me of a dry Riesling. On the palate it’s good. Lean, very dry but perfect balance – not offensively dry by any stretch of the imagination. It’s honestly really nice, best Hunter Semillon I’ve had for sure. The great qualities come through but at the same time I’m mindful that we may not get excited by this style even though the wine is perfect. Be great for a Summertime release. Great for everyone to see what the fuss is about - it's our famous Semillon producing region!
